Transition From Spring Summer to Fall/Winter

I say this a lot, but one way to be more sustainable when it comes to fashion is to wear the clothing you already have and to wear it as often as possible. In keeping with that mindset, there are ways that you can transition clothing from summer and spring well into fall and even into the winter. I mention a few tips in the following video:

The main pieces that I focus on for this video are a maxi dress, midi dress, shift dress, shirt dress, and jumpsuit.

The Outfits

Here are some of the outfit ideas I mentioned in the video. Most of the clothes that I have, I’ve owned for quite a while. For ones that I haven’t, I bought them secondhand.

My rompers and double breasted coat are secondhand from ThredUP. Just add some tights and boots to transition your summer rompers to the fall and winter
I’m wearing a high low shirt dress. I simply added a secondhand chunky knit and some over the knee boots.
Simply put comfy wool sweater on a sleeveless maxi dress for warmth. Add an animal print ankle bootie for added fall vibe.
Layer a body suit underneath a sleeveless jumpsuit. I paired it with a thicker weight double breasted jacket, secondhand gucci loafers, and a hat for some added warmth.
This secondhand BCBG shift dress is a good way to infuse some color, along with a pastel coat.

I hope that these are helpful ideas to transition clothing from summer/spring to winter/fall. I am interested in what you think, so please feel free to leave some comments.
